Uncle.

Watching him inside out base hits by accident (seemingly) makes the death rattle of 2009 a little more palatable.

What about Snider last year?

Snider's OPS last year: .803.

Randy Ruiz's OPS this year: 1.030.

Randy Ruiz hits jacks. And when he hits them, they stay hit, regardless of which league or level he's playing in.

And when Randy Ruiz hits jacks, he doesn't even need anyone on base, because he's gonna get some runs up in this bitch if he has to do it all by himself.

Ya hear?

Randy Ruiz also hits infield base hits. I saw it in person. Last night. Was a thing of beauty.

He steals bases too! Fangraphs has his speed at #4 on the team behind wells scutaro and bautista

There's a nice piece in Fangraphs about Ruiz here:

@Tao. Based on your arguement and statistical data I concede that Ruiz is the GBLSCOAT. Hopefully Ruiz helps heal your pain regarding GBOAT leaving...
