By signing with the Jays to a one year deal in the offseason, Ohka was attempting to set himself for the 2007-08 free agent market by getting a bunch of cheap wins provided by Toronto's powerhouse offense. Whoops.

Good-bye Mr. Ohka
After designating him for assignment 10 days ago, the Jays released Tomo Ohka outright today.
