As we brace ourselves to go back into the breach for another week, at least we can look back at a weekend where the Jays were able to get a few breaks and four straight wins.
That extra hit here or a missed call in their favour there, and that's pretty much the difference between last week's losing streak and the current four-game winning streak. The line between losing and winning is really that slim.

It was about time we got the breaks, though. Karma is a wonderful thing. I'm just glad the Doc got one in the win column.
That missed call sucked for this Sox fan. That was three free runs... I wouldn't get so angry about it if I actually got to see more umpires on the hot seat, forced to watch their shit calls and then answer for them in front of the camera just like athletes and managers have to do on an almost daily basis...
Congrats on your winning streak.
If the offense ever comes on, this team will be nearly impossible to stop. But until then, we can enjoy the nailbiting excitement of David Eckstein late-inning defense in tight games.
oh this pitching. I watched Sunday Night Baseball (I played Ex-Jays on Sunday Night Baseball) and watching Marquis and the Cardinal dude nibble and piss around, made me realise how very spoiled we are.
