We've had a pretty good run from these pitchers, but at any point beyond a few weeks ago - if you had said that Tallet, Cecil, and Ray would be our line-up against Boston, you'd have called a sweep anyway. What hurts though is the offense. Hoping they tee-up in Atlanta.
Anyway, I still can't see pinning this on the boy.
Tee up in Atlanta? against Jurrgens who has a sub 2 ERA and Derek Lowe. If Doc loses, then the Jays get swept again because the offense went back to sleep. How does a team hit that many hits and score one paltry run? It's a replay of last year! Wells and Rios are a terrible 3 and 4 too. Can't Gaston change the order to give them a new look? Shocking.....
You probably left some of your sweaty ass cheek sweat residue on the seat.
ReplyDeleteStay away from the Jays, SWB!

And now for interleague play. Bleh.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, SWB.
