I want my Marcum back, part 2

I'm not normally a religious man, but now seems like as good a time as any to take up a little recreational prayer.

Shaun Marcum, meet Dr. Andrews. Oh, you've already met?

I'm scared. Somebody hold me.

As you might have guessed....
The Tao is unavailable for comment today. No word if he fell victim to the Wrath of Blair.

I'll be back later this evening/early tomorrow morning to discuss bloggers vs paid journalists, Sarah Palin, and the U.S. economy crisis. Or, maybe a little Blue Jays baseball instead.

Only 9 games left, friends.

  2. Dr. Andrews has got to be on our fucking payroll by now. Unbelievable how many of our arms are destroyed. If Marcum's gone all of next season, we are fucked. We need him. We need him!!!!1

If the Sox lose their remaining 10, and we win our remaining 9...just saying.

  3. Sorry for our absence. We were rehearsing for a big Airband Competition.

We're lipsyncing Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again", and there was a hairspray and lycra related mishap.

Also, our "Tawny Kitaen" turns out to be too heavy for the hood of the Fiero.

    Back to the drawing board.

  5. well, just read the headline, Marcum to undergo TJ and done for '09. Fuck prayer.

oh, and cubs fan, you'd think 100 years of losing (OK, not winning a World Series) would learn ya from kicking a team when they're down, but ohhhh noooo.....

  6. What did Andrews tell Marcum last time that let him keep pitching until this happened?

  7. Tao, just make sure your Tawny Kitaen doesn't go all "Chuck Finley" on your ass and hit you with her stiletto.

Probably something like, "well I wouldn't recommend surgery now, but I'll probably see you in 150 innings or so."

Which would explain Marcum's struggles down the stretch, attempt to find a new arm slot, demotion to work on new delivery, call-up during a pennant race, alleged attitude problems, and decision to pack it in in the start after the Boston series.

  10. Without being homerish, how did Youkilis not get a strike 3 on that call. These fucking umps are in collusion with the league. That call on Overbay last Sunday was stupid too. How about Stairs safe at home against Boston.Cito and AJ looked upset , next time Gaston should pull his team. I've seen so many calls go Boston's way it's simply stupid.

  12. Terrible call on Youkilis. Ump should have rung him up. He definitely went around. Glad to Cito go and put a few words in his year...

    I'm really not a douche...
