Here we go again with the injuries
Blairsy drops the news on the GlobeBallBlog that Scott Downs' shoulder is feeling a bit ouchy, (possibly from all that finger penmanship on the back of the mound?) and cryptically notes that the situation "bears monitoring".
Downs' control has been spotty... perhaps getting warmed and going out more than 80 times last season is catching up to him.
How many times did Gibbons bring up Scott Downs to warm up but not bring him into the game? It's most likely fatigue but could be more serious if he's not given the time to heal and build up endurance again.
Does this mean we are going to be blessed with an Armando Benitez sighting?
possible overworkage?
ReplyDeletePossibly too much strain on the shoulder from constant primping of his mullet.
